Description

...was looking for birds, but found this instead. ...side note: I was relieved to hear that my brother and his wife decided to walk the dogs before going Christmas shopping at the Westroads Mall yesterday, thereby just missing being at the Omaha Mall when the tragedy occurred yesterday. This image seemed to fit the emotion. Thanks for looking and thank you very kindly for your recent views and comments!

This is a beautiful image, the coyote is so diminutive, but it adds such an extra bit of zing to this photo. Great work! I love your perspective and the sense of color.

Such a vast scene Maria. It is incredibly powerful and beautiful at the same time. I am glad your family are safe. My prayers and thoughts go out to all who lost family in this terrible tragedy. It is heartbreaking... Diane.

Wonderful shot, Maria. That tree is spectacular, and what fun seeing a coyote in the wild. I'm glad your brother and his wife are ok.

I, too, am thankful your brother and his wife are safe. I love the shot of this big, beautiful tree. I would love to see a picture of this tree taken during the four different seasons. What an added bonus to get a coyote in the picture.

That was so disappointing to hear around the Christmas season about that shooting in Omaha. I am grateful your family missed being there! This is a wonderful capture. (((((((hugs)))))))

Under the spreading chestnut tree, the wily coyote seeks shelter from the sun. Terrific POV, DOF, vivid clarity, colors and textures in this fine capture, Maria.
