Description
These two Northern Harriers flew about all day together and danced around each other in graceful arcs and impressive displays of the beauty of flight. I can only imagine that they might be siblings, as they did not appear to me to be chasing each off. It wasn't until I saw this on the computer that I realized that I had a third raptor in the image! Thanks very kindly for your views and comments.

Wow, three hawks in the same shot, what a pleasant surprise for you and what a joy for us. I love watching the hawks fly and dance for us, but I don't often get to see that. Mostly I see one hawk being chased and pecked by a much smaller bird that is trying to chase it off. That always makes me smile to watch that. Great photo!

Wild and free, Maria! A superb shot... aptly named. They look so graceful in flight. I like the little birds roosting in the tree as well. Have a beautiful day my friend. Hugs, Diane. xx

wonderful shot of these birds. so clear too

A fine capture of the magnificent birds performing their sky dance. It could also be easily misinterpreted as either a process of courtship or preparation for a dogfight, ala WWI and WWII. I wonder if these beautiful Harrier avians are any relation to the Navy and Marine jets of the same name.

Wonderful to get three in one shot, very well done and they do look lovely.

Yes, one in the nest, perhaps. I have seen Ospreys do this but not for fortunate as to get the photo. Very fine "in the wild" shot..so difficult to get as most we see are from bird parks and zoos. I am quite impressed.

This is a gorgeous photo...an exquisite capture that really does impart the natural grace of raptors and the beauty of nature itself. Fantastic work.
