Description
Since ordering my Sigma 10 -20mm I've been thinking of forfulling my projects that I had in mind.
Hence the start of this one.
The tubes...
I sat traveling around for 3 hours on the Underground and got off at stations that I'd been wanting to shoot and got off at others that were of interest out of the window.
First: Cannon Station. I was struck by the 3 iPod Nano pictures that were postered together. I can't understand the marketing behind it, apart from over whelming the viewer into wanting one...
The tiles of this station are this sick mustard colour and it's a really hard colour to make pop. I really wanted the the posters to out shine everything thou and hence the presentation and the globes 'popping' out of the AD boards.
I'd like feed back in terms of what connection you get from the shots in this series. I'm not really interested it who thinks I should've focused on where and what angle I should've shot from. I want to know how the picture is viewed in your eyes, what does it make you feel?
If you're going to vote, please vote honestly not just this 5 5 5 stuff, pretty please.
Thanx and happy viewing
V
P.S. Shot was hand held.

I try, sorry if I go side track. I see a ballance between todays tech entertainment and a dark tube underground. Both so much present in our life. Kinda good and evil or ups and downs what we face days after days. I have to give 5 it is a very powerful shot.

I have the Sigma 10-20mm and it is a lovely lens ans allows you to do a lot of interesting work. I like this image the composition is excellent, and the subject has true impact. While I do like the the palette you have used in this image I think it would be interesting to see this capture with a hint of the tiles mustard colouration forcomparison. Looking forward to the rest of this series.
