Your color job is pretty good. I say go wild with the tones though, really define the light. Value is king color is play! By the way the art is by Feng Zhu an L.A. based concept artist. He is one of my favorites. Few artist draw with balls. Feng does. Cheers, and thankes for posting his image.

Pretty badap image there man. Freaky but cool. Personally I have to agree with Supafly, subtle colours work nice here..... red eyes?
