Description

Diane (rainbows) had made a comment on Spring1 saying "Englands Green and Pleasant Land", that was what I was going to call this one before I started this series. The cloud dispersed to open some light upon the valley. I remember distinctly that it was a very sunny day most of the walk. forecast here - heavy rain again tomorrow Wednesday. Done all our Christmas shopping now ( I think!) Thanks for all comments, you have all been very kind.

Studley Pike, a place I have never been to, I did get up to Mankinholes once Alan but never got up to the pike itself. It certainly looks like 'God's country', and this is a fantastic pov. I'm glad you paused to take this shot, and you should still have used that title 'Englands Green & Pleasant Land' because it fits like a glove. Absolutely superb capture, real eye candy. Bravo!!!!!

Alan, what a beautiful landscape. So green and lush. You don't see anything like that around Arizona. Must be a pleasure to go for a walk in this countryside. Don't feel too bad about rain in the forecast, we had rain here in Arizona also and todays hi was only 13C and lo 10C. Way below our normal for this time of year, Sig....

The greens on greens is marvelous and the funnel effect is a perfect direction for the eyes to follow. Great pov and compo.
