Description

Hi all. :^) First, my sincere thanks to those of you who took the time to extend your offers of congratulations. You are all soooooo sweet and encouraging, and your support truly makes me feel like my efforts are not in vain. So thank you, from the very, very bottom of my heart... :^) Onto this image...It has been suggested to me that this might be mistaken as something that belongs in the 2D gallery. I want to clarify that this image, although elaborate in presentation, is basically two photos that have been composited. It's pretty much the same thing as the other polaroid-type images I've uploaded here, like 'Taking A Leap', except that was three. The surface the 'book' is lying on, is in reality, no different than having a frame or border around a photo, if you think about it. So simply put, this is a photo that has been warped into looking like it's lying down, and then a second photo added on top of it, to give it even more of a 3D look...if I was successful, that is. ;^) Anyway, I hope you like it. :^) Thanks for dropping by, and any comments you may care to leave. 'Til next time...stay well, y'all! Marlene :^) PS: For any of you that actually read my endless babble, there's a fascinating thread on the internet about pulp fiction, male fantasy, and the interesting effect the women's liberation movement had on this particular genre... I found it most thought-provoking.... http://www.metroactive.com/papers/cruz/02.27.97/lq-pulp-9709.html And...hopefully here's Scarlett, before I 'warped' her, lol... wow... This is fabulous Marlene. The innocence of her face combined with the racy outfit is a hit! I love the info since I have no idea what it takes to get a finished product like this. Hey, with a name like Scarlett I'd say she may have been warped before you got ahold of her! I will check out that pulp fiction/women's lib link, soon.

Wonderful creation Marlene. I love the subtle texture in the blacks of the book cover as well, but all of it works as a cohesive whole. Very nice, very creative, very ... pulpy. You done good Marlenealouché!

Greetings Marlene, I am totally speechless at your professional abilities and having merged it with your creative eye. This complete work is certainly not 2D because of all the elements that went into its creation, since the photograph of your beautiful model is the key of the creation and therefore it should be in the photography section. When compared to your last posting, this one is so very much better in numerous points. The technical is masterful and the lighting perfect. The model was able to give you the right pose and you were able to capture the style and mood. It is a pleasure to add this super creative work to my favorite. It is truly a masterpiece. Have a wonderful weekend and thank you for sharing. egmont

Here's the reason you made Gommie...!! Excellent work here, I thought I was looking a magazine cover you shot on your table...which BTW I would have bought just for the cover art itself. Of course the slimmy on the cover really catches my attention!! Very hot Marlene, well put together image and very humrous...Hubba hubba!! Aloha to you sweetie!! I must swipe this now for future reference...Mahalo!!

Marlene, only the persnickety and petty would ever care what "gallery" art goes in- as far as I am concerned, this is just another example of how freakin' awesome your skills are and I could give a $h!t where its posted! Not only a true artist with the camera and an eye to see what lies beyond the imagination, but the talent and skills in Photoshop to carry that out into a physical image! I dig the humor too, you ham!
