Description

good morning all :o).. this is another beauty that lives at the bottom of my garden .although very rampant it never fails to put on a good show during april and may .this was one of the first shots i took with the d40 when i first got it . xmas came a little early for me yesterday .most of the week i`ve been babystting at my sons and i must of been going on a bit about the led zepplin concert :o)..anyway we went to town yesterday as we always do and stacey my other grandaughter whose 11 phoned me to pick her up as she wanted to come aswell ,which is very unusual unless of course she needs grandad to buy her something lol.anyway i did as i was told and when we got to town she grabbed june`s hand and told me to wait where i was till she got back ,so i had to stand in shop browsing as it was bitterly cold .10 minutes later they came back and i was presented with led zepplin`s new cd a delux version mind that had a dvd in it aswell.i asked why i was getting it now instead of xmas and the reply was "to shut you up and dont listen to it without your headphones on as they look rubbish "lol :o)...btw she bought it for me out of her pocket money . well i`ve finished my cup of tea so i better get some veg done for sunday dinner whilst its still quiet as ashleigh ,stacey and jodie stayed last night for a sleepover .all that make up ,girl talk and hormones in one house could drive a bloke crazy :o) have a great sunday and thanks as always for your comments and friendship mick

So simply made but so beautifully complex. You have a great eye for capturing a flower's face.

I love your clematis - lovely shot! :) What a great story! I know you'll enjoy your Zepplin all the more, with this charming tale behind it! You are a fortunate man, indeed.

no doubt this generation looks at our music and thinks the worst, but with the music now that a team of linguists could not deciper, I think from our era the music was very tame.at least most of the time the lyrics could be understood by a first grader. they must love grand daddy very much your flowers are very beautiful and an excellent capture

Lovely flower Mick, we have on something like it down the end of our garden, I haven't a clue as to the variety but it is a clamatis, that much I do know. Fine busines regarding the early pressie, you have a very loving granddaughter Mick. I heard that some of the tickets were selling outside the gig for four figure sums. Excellent capture. Bravo!!!!!

Excellent picture. Led Zeppelin ROCKS!!!!!!! Here are some lyrics to go with your tea Mick! ....There's a lady who's sure, All that glitters is gold, And she's buying a stairway to heaven. When she gets there she knows, If the stores are all closed, With a word she can get what she came for. And she's buying a stairway to heaven..... :) Todd
