Description

I do not have to be at the hospital till 7:30. my son had to go home for some things to do. My daugther in law and baby be at the hospital till Friday. The coffee shop close at 700 pm so here I is here. I just posted a photo of my grandson and family and you wonder why I post this sad image of toys that been in a old broken down warehouse. I seen it rain in there and the place is flooded. I going to go in one day to take photos as it rain hard. As the water come down thought the holes in the roof. Any way I know a lot of people think of the past Christmass and they miss the people that is not there anymore. The family members that moved on or die. The friends that come and go in our lives. the childrood friends that was close as can be but when school out they gone; never to return. We think of these things and get down at time. But then at the present take us to where we at now we enjoy the people we know now and can talk to them. Thanks for comments and understanding Oh The tree isw in the upper right corner. it been there too. I do not move stuff around but leave it as is. that about 99.9% of the time. I do move stuff .1% of the time

Jock, this shot is not sick, it is, as you say, a thought about those things lost from Christmas past. Kids grow up, move away, parents pass on, families divide... but there are always new things that take the place of those things... a husband, a grandchild, an elderly neighbor alone who enjoys spending tiem with you doing the holidays. Great shot.

Jocko, your photo here makes me think that time can be like a monster, takeing good fun things that made children happy and end the end leaving them damaged and neglected. One hopes the children that once held these toys are doing okay. Excellent photo!!!

This just makes up stop and remember those people who are not with us any longer, for whatever reason. You have a touch, Jocko, that is so true, so pure, and so very human. This is simply beautiful!!

Interesting capture here, Jock. It's better to have toys under the Christmas tree past than having the ghost of Christmas past scaring up a storm. As for people that come and go, most of my once large family is just a memory now, having died off over the years. If auld acquaintance be forgot......

Jocko, yes this is a sad image. But, friend, you tell a story worth knowing of others and the values some hold and some do not. Thanks very much for the powerful photo.

Oh, Jocko, this is a wonderful photo. You've touched my heart, my friend. I have so many dead friends, and I miss them a lot, even if they've been gone for years. Your photograph speaks of loss, of good times long gone, of incredible sadness. It made me think of those good times. I have new friends now, lots of love and joy in my life, and things are good. Thank you for this.

The image says a thousand words, and sometimes I want to take images like this one myself, and yet I am too self-concsious of what people would think. I think we all see things which mean something to ourselves and it is good to show and tell the story, it explains alot about thoughts we keep to ourselves. Bravo!
