Description

I was photographing the cloud formations on a somewhat cloudy day (...ya think?) with winds blowing about 25-30mph, when a nearby gull caught an updraft and was literally hovering over me. (Luckily, his poop chute was not engaged!) Not wanting to let a photo op pass me by, I fired off a few shots ... This one turned out pretty nice, I thought...

This is gorgeous. Jonathan Livingston Seagull most excellently captured against a very cool turbulent sky. Would love to meet you someday but I'm way over here in Lexington.
