Description

Here is another lava rock formation with a different color from the normal black. Filled with curiosity, Lady Carrie climbs up to see what's on top with no problems. But as she was coming down, one of the rocks had shaken loose and she had leaped forward at a 45 degree angle. Luckily I was close by and caught her left arm in mid flight. I had set her down safely and she was ok. A close call. Dang it! I was hoping Myron had taken a picture of her in flight but he was just stunned in his tracks. Aloha and thank you for viewing

I'm glad you were there to save Lady Carrie and that no one was injured. The colors of this lava are very interesting. I love going on these trips with you since I can do it from my couch. I don't frequently comment but I do always enjoy your photos and commentary.

An excellent capture of lady carrie climbing the lava, Errol. Gorgeous textures, it is a really rugged climb. Glad that Errol saved the day. Would have been a very nasty to fall here. Stay safe always. Aloha. Diane.

breath taking scenery Errol. on my last trip to Utah and Bryce canyon, I stepped back toward the canyon wall on a path to allow people to pass and my foot went out on loose gravel.I tore a belt loop loose but I saved my camera!!!
