BIOmy freelance work consists of creating layouts, retouching images,
and designing logos and promotional material images for print and
the web. my clients include harper collins publishers (new york, ny),
and telos systems (cleveland, oh). i have a bfa in industrial design
from the rhode island school of design.
in my spare time i have been working on an animation project called
"error type 11." it is named after the crash i most frequently get while
using carrara studio. i'm aiming to have it done by fall 2002. (missed that mark, i guess) gallery
images and a website documenting the making of the animation are
[probably never gonna make it].
my portfolio is located at: www.scottspringer.org

Very cool. Reminds me of Brian Taylor's RUSTBOY (the quality of the work, not the style). I'm looking forward to seeing some animation. -Otis

It Is greate to know that the software and some artists using it (Which I see, you are one of them) can do PhotoRealistic animations. Beutiful work !

This image is just great! It takes a lot from an animater in carrara to try and get an image just right and this stands out over a lot of what I have seen.
pixelicious
thanks. i was a bit ambitious when i wrote fall 2002 on the image. hmmm that's now, and i still haven't begun animating the darn thing. initially i was planning this project for an online animation contest, and it kind of blew up into something much larger. now i want to output at broadcast rez, and i'm finding that all of my models need some reworking.
