The male Scav sat tensely, staring at Slicey with intense curiosity. He remarked over his shoulder to Martya,"It'd help if you had some control over that alien artifact of yours. I think you're making them nervous." Slicey said sarcatically,"HIM. You are making Reaper nervous. Not me. Female--if you teleport away, the Scav male is wired to explode with the outfit he's wearing. The suppression signal is only in this room." Martya glanced fearfully over at Reaper and said tersely,"Nervous? I'm nervous! You guys are machine KILLERS! What do you have to be nervous about?" Reaper said loudly,"That's right! We're KILLERS! I'm called Reaper because of all the dirty organics I've killed!" The Scav male smiled a tight, knowing smile at Slicey and said to Reaper,"You're a youngster who is terrified of us and have never killed anyone in combat before, aren't you,'Reaper'?" KEEP YOUR TARGET TARGETED!] Reaper reacquired Martya and steamed silently. The Scav male narrowed his eyes at Slicey and nodded. He remarked calmly,"I have trouble wrapping my mind around the idea of machines sexually replicating. You have a head like all the females I've seen here, but you're bipedal?" Slicey said in surprise,"I'm a sterile mule. I'm mentally female, but can't reproduce. Cyber-genetic mutation. It happens." A strange series of noises came from her voice box and she said suddenly,"I'm called Slicey-Dicey. Memory metal arm-blades. You can die from them." Martya had choked off a giggle hearing the Cyclops' name. The Scav male smiled and remarked,"You Cyclops pick your own names? YOU are dangerous. I'm starting to see your kind as individuals. My designation is 64-25518. You can refer to me as 518." Slicey sat up and looked directly at the Scav male designated as 518. "You do NOT have a NAME? You are a number?" Martya held up a hand and remarked nervously,"I have a name. Martya. I was born free in the shadow of Shalmiraine. 518 was manufactured, not born, and was made to be a slave.
