Description
Yes, this is the same Noble Fir that was so recently atop my car in the rain! Its scent is wonderful and as the lights are on a timer, this sight greets me on my return from work in the dark. It is a very pleasant greeting indeed, though on Christmas day, I'll only be home minutes, before I, too, am transformed, and on my way to dine and carouse with dear friends!
I don't know WHAT I did to make this picture so grainy, so please feel free to advise! Thanks!

I get this noise in my shots when the lens strains to hold a focus in dim light or a stressful lighting situation. I sort of think the noise in this shot works out very nicely for mood. Such a lovely tree. I like the comfy feeling in this.

I think this is a wonderful composition! However, you might try different settings for ISO speed to see what you get. Merry Christmas.

Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree, lah-de-dah-dah, Christmas tree...... A myriad of ornaments too numerous to count. I read where it takes from 7 to 10 years for a Christmas fir to mature.
