Description
Around midmorning today we started getting some snow flurries, and by late afternoon we actually had some snow on the ground, a very rare occurrence here, especially so early in the season. I can't remember getting snow on Christmas day in Portland.
This is Helvetia Church; it seemed like the perfect way to demonstrate our white Christmas. I hope everyone had or is having a wonderful day.

What a beautiful picture and the snow makes it even that much better. I was so excited to see our snow. They are saying up to 3 inches tomorrow but I would be delighted if they were wrong and we got a foot of it! Merry Christmas to you and Deb.

A beautiful shot but it also reminds me why I hated being stationed in Washington (Paine Field, about 8 mile south of Everett)because of the numerous ways precipitation occured. I didn't have the means at the time to travel and see things and the constant dreary weather was getting to me. Anyway, an appropriate photo for this time of year, Sig...
