Description

After 3 hours of walk on the life less lava terrain and passing 2 volcanic cones, we come across this 3rd cone which is a little different from the rest. With my camera and eyes focus on this cone, Myron and Lady Carrie (2 white dots on the right) finds something and calls me over with excitement. Aloha and thank you for viewing

Wonderful textures in this capture of the tar-like black lava, Shark! If the terrain was reddish rather than black, I would swear that was the surface of Mars.

I'll bet they found something green. When I was walking across this kind of terrain I remember seeing life trying to take hold everywhere it could. Excellent shot, this brings back fond memories.

Why are we so far behind? heh heh....Nah I know this lava is rough going and it's best to go at your own pace...It's a good thing you carry GPS, the trail doesn't look that well defind...Nice work here~ Aloha~

Wow! One doesn't really get a sense of the scale in some shots, but this here..... with your two companions just tiny white dots in the distance is a realllllly impressive view of just how expansive this is! What a shot!
