Here are more shots I took of Makenna last summer. She's just so danged cute, I never get tired of using her as a model!
This is her favorite thing to do at the playground. She gets handfulls of wood chips off the ground, carries them up onto the platform on the jungle jim, and spends all her time figuring out which bits of wood will go through those holes and which ones won't. She's quite persistent, and she's not ready to go home until she has made decisions about each and every piece of wood she brought up with her.
I think children are born with their personalities intact, and it's our job to discover who they are. Nobody taught Makenna to do this, it's just her idea of a good time at the park!

Cute collage of Makenna trying to solve the problem of square pegs going into round holes...or is it the other way around? I do believe this is how Leonard Da Vinci and Isaac Newton got started in life.

three wonderful pictures capturing her in play and what a inventful game she plays children are just wonderful to take pictures of, i can see mine getting fed up of me snaping at them it's good to catch them unaware like you have here so natural great work.
