Description

this was in the old building I go in and too some shots. I can not stay away from that building. got treqaures in there. no gold or anything but to me the photos are there waiting to be taken. I think the bottom is a little flat. I going to reshoot this and use a flash on it. may not be wroth it or do anything to it but just try to see what what.

I was also thinking a bit more light but I think flash would over-do it. Fabulous subject and compo! Good job.

Wonderful old farming tool Jock, I saw one of these stuck in our Dartmoor wilderness a few years ago, took some photos of it also. I will try to find them and post them to do a comparison, I don't think the one I saw had two seats though. Excellent capture.

Yes, I remember sitting on seats like this, even the old Massey Ferguson tractor had one like this, very uncomfortable. Excellent capture Jocko, flash might be a bit harsh, longer exposure using tripod may be better. Excellent work. Bravo!!!!!

Ah, there used to be quite a few of these on my grandfather's farm. Oh, if only those ghostly voices could tell the stories about the families who used this equipment so long ago! Nice nostalgic shot, Jock!

Coming from the farm country we would report any man with a bobtail butt as having a tractor seat and when he would brag about something we would say let's sit down on the draw bar and shuck about it. Ladys who cared for infants and got down with them to adjust their clothes or pick them up were referred to as "Lottie with the squatty body" for the grace of their rears.
