Description

I was takeing photos of this at lake Martin. i was just ready to go when the tour boat came into this area. Lol I starting shooting and look like some one shot me from the boat. i think it cool. The sun was shineing down on me and on the Spainish moss on the trees at that angle. Hard to get the shot with out sun flarls. I forgot the sun hood at home lol. So I was useing a new paper and then I still got a red sun spot that I had to post work out of the photo and It was underexpose too. Got more shots of the tour boat. Forgot how much it cost. Thinking of going on it myself. thanks for looking and comments Oh that the name of the company that do these tours [it the title with out the boat on it cost is $20 a adult and $10 for child under 13

tour is about 2 hours long. You learn a lot as I hear the guide talking his head off

What a great capture of this amazing scene, and of the smiling faces of the people on the tour boat. I wonder if that chap is showing the pic he took of you to his friends too? hugs Jane xx

excellent capture Jock.I use one hand to block the sun especially when I am using my wide angle.the hood interferes causing loss of picture in the corners because of the filter extending the hood too far

The tours are always a kick. I did two in Florida years ago but never did a swamp or bayou. Didn't have to do the bayou cause we had a small row boat and we got around just fine. LOL This is a wonderful shot and the Spanish Moss is a real treat to see so thick.

Very nice shot, Jock. I like the sunny effect on the spanish moss versus the dark foreground. We took one of those tours just south of Houma, LA, and it looked very much like this. Thanks for the memories.

Lots of foliage in this fine capture, Jock! Kind of reminds me of the movie, SOUTHERN COMFORT.
