Description

Ultrafractal 4.03 Here's a further tweak of yesterday's "Sea of Holes" piece. Maybe this one is a little cooler? Been on Christmas vacation the last 2 weeks and must have WAY too much time on my hands...NOT! lol I may go a little further with it - maybe some "decoration" for the "discs" that aren't pink. But at 169 layers, maybe my pc will decide to take its own little vacation rather than grind thru even more layers - lol. I decided to nix the texture on this one - might take it off of the other one, too - not sure. Whaddayathink? Thanks for stopping by and for the nice words on yesterday's thingie! Rick ***(Fine art giclee' prints of most of my work are available in limited edition on archival paper or canvas - e-mail: drahcir3@hotmail.com and get busy filling that empty spot on the wall! Unique, "one-of-a-kind" (edition size = 1) prints are also available*** :-)

169 layers?!?!?! OUCH!! Ohhhh, that almost makes my head go into tilt mode! Dang, man, I just cannot imagine using even half that many layers, as most of my fractals use only one or two--though I have used as many as five to seven a time or two. It's a fantastic piece, I'll give you that--tons of interesting details, and great colors! It's extremely good work, and a very fun piece; you obviously know what you're doing, and took a good while to do it! On this one, I'd not change anything, honestly; I do like it better than yesterday's piece, as this one just really seems to have more of a fun atmosphere about it. This is impressive work!

Slip, sliding away just like the old year went. I like the gravitational pull on this one but at 169 layers I wouldn't blame your computer for going on strike. I like your extra work on this.

I think this one is the better of the two. I like it without the rough texture work. Very nice render and design work.

A very playful image! I like both of them just the way they are! This one has a whole different feel to it than the other and that is what makes them special. Well done!

Hi Rick! I have missed your work in my absence, it's a real treat to see it again! That is some fantastic visual, I really like how the holes have such dimension as if something really popped out of them. What a talent you have with UF!

Whimsical and fun! I like that only the pinky discs are decorated though I am not sure why, lol! This is a cute and lighthearted image and I love it. :)

Truly imaginative, as usual! I love the cartoon-like design and the overall sci fi feel. 169 layers (!) -- AAAARRRGGHH! You're a very patient man, Rick!

Meet George Jetson...That is exactly what popped into my head when this opened. Fun and lively. Also reminds me of Necco discs. (Probably too far back for you to remember..lol) Very cool
