Description

"Cajun Country Swamp Tours" name of the tours and they are 2 hours long at $20 adults plues they are at appointment. Cell phone 337-319-0010 WWW. cajuncountryswamptours.com I got one more of the tour boats photos I like to post. thanks for comments and all. I know they was underexposed but this is the first time I shot into the sun like this. I had to get into the shadow of that big tree you see the sun light going around it. I keep playing with the speed and f stops but was not doing too good. I put it on auto and it was too dark then. I did not have my sun block on and I did have a polarization filter I bought and was trying it out[cost me $75 lol]. as you see the glare of the sun is still there and I did turn the filther in diff places. here you see the size of the land I had a closer shot of them as I put my 2x thing on my 135mm lens. I just can not make up my mind which to post. They both is good. I will post one that you see what the 2x thing on the lens do tomorrow. guess I could have put the iso down to 200 or 100 even here. I do that next time I there with the sun like this. Just learning about all this stuff you know.

This is a beautiful capture in my opinion. I would love to see this swammp area. As for me trying to decide which picture to post, I usually ask my good buddy Dave (Punaguy) which one he likes best. Excellent job and choice you made. Aloha

I like the sun coming through like that. Gives the photo sort of a misty almost foggy feel, creates a cool atomosphere. I think sometimes what you think are mistakes are actually awesome shots!!

Good gracious - this looks like a whole other planet. I am dazzled by the 'alienness' of it; the detail of which is strengthened by the strong camera angle. The smile covered surface of the water looks as if anything imaginable might lurk within....
