Description
I wish everyone the best of new years.
It was with a bit hesitation that this is posted ... but after fiddling for a week or so I've decided to present it after all. As you can see a wide-angle virtual camera was used, i.e., 30mm, with a bit of distortion resulting. Used all the usual programs to produce this.
The limo is a freebie from DAZ as is the Mil. Dog. V4 with DAZ Rachel skin textures is used. The RR stuff is in the vendor credits.
Thanks for commenting and I shall get to everyone's gallery as time permits. And a big thanks for all past comments. They're really appreciated.

Great scene and reflections and your posing of the girl and the dog are excellent.

Very nicely done! I love the whole idea of paradise presumption, and how you put it together!!! Excellent work. I think the soft focus works great with the image smotins.

I like it. She looks a little sad though, I suppose the presumption of wealth and beauty equate to a true paradise.

Awesome scene and lighting. Loving all the detail inside the car and the reflections. Excellent...

Undoubtedly this is a nice image, which although the fact that it is a simple composition is a nice pict and deserves a 5. Tsst-tsst I would have rated it a 4.75 because there are some polygons visible at the level of the car's wheels, and for the excellent painter that you are, it was very simple to correct that into Photoshop. But as a 4.75 rating does not exist, no doubt that I click on 5 stars because to rate this painting a 4 would be simply stupid. More seriously… I was also attracted by the limo when it came for free some weeks ago, because I thought that it would be perfect for some mafioso or (political) gangsters in a possible comic project; I have not at all the time to use it but took the time to load it! It is really nice and very decently detailed even inside, this is top-notch modeling work! As for the choice of wideangle view, this is not uncorrect at all, neither it is distortion. In the late seventies, many National Geographic portraits were done with a 35 or a 28mm focal length (i.e. now in digital SLR with CCD in APS format that makes a 17 or 18mm focal length). It then results a special perspective with a big impression of depth and enlarging of first planes compared to remote ones. Also you can notice that round objects situated far off the optical axis are viewed as elliptic. However, as noticed as early as the fifties, when wideangle lenses became popular with the appearance of the Zeiss Jena Flektogon (4/24 then 4/20 and later 2.8/20), the specialists advocated that, if our human eye was able to see according to this very wide angle, the real world would apppear exactly like through this kind of lens.So we must keep the world of distortion for subjects the straitht lines of which are deformed, taking a curved aspect. For more info about perspective, see the enchanting (very funny but serious) Perspective for Comic Book artists by David Chelsea (Watson-Guptill 1997, ISBN 0-8230-0567-4).

Something you've just got to stop fiddling and post it to be done with it, I've been there, many times... As for the image, I too like the soft filtered feel to this one, the image is better because of it.

Per Elcet's suggestion, I fixed the tire. I hope no one minds ... it was a minor thing but it bothered me after that flaw was pointed out. :-)
