cold beer
on a warm
winter day
cigarette dangling
celebrating
the moment
a beggar with a sign
on the corner
across-the-street
doing what he does
another day
gone by
walking
saw the lights
of the city
in the distance
always thinking of fire
scan the horizon
toward/in the dark
followed my shadow
breathed all
all in
ah, brings that cold
cold fire
walking
over that-way
with
and
only
much sky light
for warmth
