You are correct in your description of this render. Definitely has a Dicken's atmosphere to it. I think he would be most proud of the render.

This is fantastic, a really beautiful Dickensian scene, wonderful atmosphere and a fine eye for detail. Excellent work!

While this is a very well assembled image it suffers from that Bryce-blue haze. IMHO you need to play around with you atmosphere settings and perhaps select a grey haze instead of the current blue.
e-brink
The blue haze is totallyl intentional! See my gallery at http://www.peterhague.com. Nothing I do is without intent! Sometimes there are things in art and nature which clash with preconception. Don't let the limitations of a program become a limitation in you head! Regards.

Victorian-Dickensian .. that was my first thought indeed when I saw the thumbnail.. your words in the last comment "Don't let the limitations of a program become a limitation in you head! " are soooo true.. That makes the image extra special I hope the one you answered to will ever read it

Great and unique subject. Think I might have preferred a different atmosphere/sky, though. Still, a fine work as is!

This is a beautiful period piece. I love the soft colors you chose. It reminds me of a Charles Dickens novel.
