I left Renderosity permanently because the management of this site didn't treat me fairly (they think they can do whatever they want, even if their actions are not based on any rule, and they still expect people to obediently bow their heads when they do so).
I will not delete my galery here but I will not update it with new images either. My new gallery is at DeviantArt (much better site!), under the name ArthurBlue.

Ah cool! I like how the mountainous terrain is above the clouds- gives it a majestic feel. Comparing this to the previous render it is easy to see how the effect can really add to the overall texture of the image as well as its feel of mysticism.

Looks more "dramatic" then the first one. Great Image!

Excellent!

Very nice follow-up. The clouds change the scene - it looks high in the mountains now that the water is all but hidden.

Cool too, even when I prefer the first one with its strong clarity.

Superb terrains!

All i can say..fantastic.

Totally different "feel" to this one than the first. More mysterious ... more left to the imagination. Very well done!
chrispoole

The 'low clouds' look wrong to me. They look more like snow and ice and completely opaque to my eyes. If it were an ice mist or fog, it wouldn't be so solid looking. The first one was an absolute "WOW,OMG!" This one just doesn't have the same level of POW the first one did. IMO, if you had some translucent ice mist on the surface and some meta-clouds in the upper levels to be 'snow clouds' in sort of a partly cloudy winter day, that night have served you better. It would be more dramatic, I think. It's a good piece of work in almost every way, but fell a bit short of the moon-height mark of the first one, IMO. Of course the first one is still in high orbit, and anyone would need a BIG rocket to touch it. ^__^V,,

I really like this one alot. Great image. I cant decide if I like this one better than the first or not. Maybe with a little less cloud cover allowing you to see some of the lower landscape. Would be interesting to see. Still gets a 5 stars in my book though, great work!
