Description

Moby Dick on wheels: the 53 Eldo was indeed a huge beast. This was a commission, otherwise i'd have preferred to do the 54 model, which was more elegant in my opinion. Polyedited in MAX and rendered with VRay. Thanks for watching. More views can be seen at http://www.palat.com.br/cars.html

This is a car that could have shown up in the town I grew up in as someone drove to their cottage on the lakeshore. My acquaintance with Cadillacs then was the contractor who had built our house bought one every year. He lived right across from the grade school and you could see it when you were on the playground. You've got the crytallography of the headlights just right on this one. the facets shine.

Thanks people! I just noticed the wipers were left out, so i re-rendered and updated the image. Also, made the parking lights lighter. I am presently working on a 58 Chevy Bel Air, will soon post the final result. Thanks again for the encouragement.

Beyond comparison, as ever! Any chance you might be converting this to Coupe De Ville? I really love hardtop coupes, and I (now) know the 53 Eldorado was convertible only.
