Description
In 1958 Chevrolet finally turned into Cadillac!
The design was on the garish side and lasted only one year.
Polyedited in Max and rendered with VRay.

If only people then had seen some of the oh so wonderful designs of some of today's cars, they wouldn't have minded so much about what they had.

This model of the 1958 Impala is one of my all time favorite automobiles. I think I like it even more than the 57. You have really created a marvelous image displaying this car in all it's regal beauty. Just a fantastic job!

1958 actually entered my operator's window. I had my learner's permit and could look at cars as a driver might. Ken Cook traded his lead sled Mercury for one of these. The Olds engine and grille from the 47 Ford convertible custom it had gotten made the downpayment. You could buy one of these on a magician's salary. "Ozzie" Osintoski bought his with work at his father's implement sales. He even got a back porch Continental kit.
