Description
a very good morning to you all even though i`m writing this the night before whilst i`m babysitting and yes the song is going through my head thats how i got the title .it just popped in while i was looking at this :o)..
a relaxing pic for today .this calm and peaceful spot is along the river tees at yarm . i was feeling a bit off yesterday so if i did`nt get to your pic i promise to catch up :o)...i had 2 painful injections in my hip on tuesday afternoon and when the anestetic wore off i was like a bear with a sore head and could`nt concentrate for too long .
some info on the tees for you seeing as though you like history so much :o)..
the river tees is 70 miles long starting in the penines and ending in the north sea at seal sands near hartlepool .The construction of the Tees Barrage in 1995 created a new river environment; the non-tidal water is once again teaming with wildlife, the salmon are leaping and the river provides an exciting choice for recreation and sports.
Its industrial growth was based first on coal and later iron, chemicals and steel. Today the Tees, with Middlesbrough as its capital, is one of the most important and most spectacular industrial rivers in the uk.
i thank you as always for your continued support and comments .have a great day
