Description

The Davidson building is one of the first built after a fire destroyed all but two buildings (I am told) one of survivors was the State Normal School now a part of the Central Washington University Campus. the other was the castle which was built to be the governors mansion if Ellensburg became the state capital. All hope of that happening was destroyed by the fire! The castle is now apartments!

What a beautiful old building, and a nice bit of Washington State history! I haven't been to Ellensburg in ages. This makes me think I should get out more! LOL!
