Longgggg-standing interest in photography, first class in high school in the 60's, but was too expensive a hobby until my first digital camera about two years ago. Now I'm more prolific. :-D I am BRAND NEW to computers, so any advice on image enhancements probably should wait until I learn how to click, double-click, and drag...
I enjoy taking landscape shots and shots with a historical context, especially around Kittitas County, Washington.
The portraits in my icon and homepage image were taken last winter by the woman who is known here at Renderosity as PumaWalkingSoftly (aka Windchime Photography), thanks Laura!

This may be Washington but it looks much like the New England area I remember as a child. But I bet those tiny towns we drove through in then are all grown up now. Its nice to see small, older towns still exist. A wonderful, warm photo inspite of the snow.

Oh how I wish! I would love to live somewhere like this, rather than the sprawling city life that I live in now. I can still dream though. Excellent capture. Bravo!!!!!

Awesome shot of a small American town. I love to get off the Interstate and drive along the highways to see towns like this. Love the older houses. So much character. You've done a great job capturing that feeling. Nice job!!

Great capture, Dan! You're a one-man booster club for our area. Wonderful mood, and enough history to get everyone's attention. Nice work! I'm hoping that Mick, Jeff and Alan decide they're serious and move to Washington. :)
