Description

my first and probably last intentional pin-up. it just isn't my forte. i rendered this a long time ago, and postworked it over holidays. more new and older to come. thanks to any and all who view, and even more thanks to those who comment. though i won't be working on this image anymore, i appreciate hearing about any and all thoughts regarding my work.

You have a lot of good things going for you here - I do like it... I'm going to be honest with you, the emotion I'm seeing here makes me think she is still half asleep, like she got up and is waiting for coffee - that's my read, please don't think much of it, because I'm sure some guys are head over heals in love with her... I'd say the whole picture looks great, I'm just reading something in the face - maybe I knew somebody that acted like that - lol

Unusual pose, I like it, it's very well done, with attention to detail. Very good colour scheme and lighting. Her expression is also very interesting. I think that mikeerson touched it already. It's like if she's not really willing to be there. It seems she has to be there, she's making her best to be there, pose and smile, but she doesnt really want to do it. Well done!

It does convey a 'coolness' and a feeling of being blue. She looks like a porcelain doll - very beautiful but best not to touch... I love the compositional rhythm created by the figure and her shadow on the wall, and the faint echo of a shadow on the wall behind.

Excellent skin, mats and lighting. I really like the porceline skin work and the hair. Compositionally - I think you could have framed it with her head a tny bit higher and a bit more white below the foor - but this is a nit. I also find myself wanting to see a bit more of her eyes. I particularly like the way the bodice fabric works around the hand. Thanks for sharing it.
