Description

Two different looks at the same region of the Mandelbrot set; a standard Slope/Lighting image and a try at a reverse embossing effect. Thanks for looking!

A very interesting study. I like both but my heart beats a bit faster when I look at the embossed one - opening the full size shows the details even better. Thanks for sharing!

I absolutely adore this one, Paul. The two different colorings show dramatically different aspects of the same region. I particularly like the the embossed version as it is so different from your usual style. The contrasts between the two images are exquisite. Thank you so much for sharing this one. -- Fawn
