Description

Looking back from near the top of the Spearhead Buttress to Cruach nam miseag. Argyll Scotland. You can just make out a couple of figures following my trail, they are roughly where yesterdays post was taken from. The strange thing was that the air was so still and clear that I actually heard their footsteps way before I seen them, and they still seemed miles away! Anyway thats Ben Lomond in the background and the low cloud rushing up from the south was starting to treat us to a dramatic temperature inversion. Thanks for viewing.

The contrast between the snow and the darkest parts, as well as the clouds and the far mountains peaks makes this photo an excellently one. Gorgeous winter high-mountains landscape. I'd like to be there too.

I feel tired and cold, just viewing this one, Anthony. It is magnificent, though. Thanks for your efforts and sharing in this series, and in the past, my friend. Take care. Regards, John.
