Description

I need to find some one with a boat so I can ride around or bowwor on. May go to a diff place and rent a boat this week end with my son. He say he like to do that. See what the weather going to do. Here a shot of that young man in the boat I showed a few photos back. I like this one too for diff reasons. Do you think the boat is too far over? I shot it like that thinking the landscape was more important. I hope my thinking is right. thanks for everything

Great idea to have fun with your son while boating. This is another great shot. I just love those trees and a reflection of it.

he about 40 or 50 feet off the bank here. I on the bank and not a road. I post that later on. As for the gators they not moveing much as it too cold for them. They like bears and sleep in the cold weather. That why I going to walk around this lake one day and on a cold day for sure

NO, he's just right, he becomes part of the whole scene, not the focus. Another great foto!!

Although I like the other one better for the boat placement, I think you did well on this one too. I think the landscape is the primary focus but the boat is what lends additional interest. Any further up or to the center and it would take away from the drama of the surroundings. Stunning shot, once again. Funny but I was just talking to a friend last night about your swamp series and how we liked the idea of renting a boat instead of joining a tour. But then, he reminded me that we aren't familiar with the swamp and might get lost... I hate it when he's right. LOL

I would say that I think the placement of the boat in this picture is perfect, it feels right. But I wouldn't know why. The other's who commented were able to say why, "beachzz" said it best, I think. I like both pics with the boat in it, but for different reasons, too. Awesome photography Jock! Another fave!

Sorry to say this, but the canoe should have been slightly more to the left, maybe by a couple of feet so it wouldn't interfere with the reflections in the water. Other than that, another fine capture of the swamp, with terrific reflections, POV, DOF and background mist.

You have some very unique scenery in your area..just think..people pay money to come to these places and take the various tours.. and you have it free for the taking..thanks for sharing these images...saved me big bucks..:) and I think its a toss up about the boat position...if YOU like it..then post it..

The placement of the boat looks fine for the moment that the photo was taken.I also enjoy the position of the water and especially the trees.Don't bother trying to move them. They belong there and should be left right were they are!
