Description

I need to find some one with a boat so I can ride around or bowwor on. May go to a diff place and rent a boat this week end with my son. He say he like to do that. See what the weather going to do. Here a shot of that young man in the boat I showed a few photos back. I like this one too for diff reasons. Do you think the boat is too far over? I shot it like that thinking the landscape was more important. I hope my thinking is right. thanks for everything

The canoe leads the eye into the scene. It barely makes a wake to spoil the mirror.

Lovely image.... I really like the transition from sharp and colorful to soft subdued colors from the fog. I like the composition myself. Some might say that to go with the 'rule of thirds' the boat could have been brought inward a bit, but you composed this the way you wanted it, and it turned out lovely. Rules are made to be broken and the most important thing is that you are happy with what you created!

I like having the canoe and not the tour boat. The canoe adds to the quietness of the foggie swamp. This one is another favorite.

Different strokes for different folks Jocko. Personally I like the boat where it is and think the composition is great, when it comes to the crunch different people have different tastes and ideas of whats right and wrong. I take a pic and think "Thats good enough to post" so I post it, if any one person thinks its OK then thats a bonus. Like I have said before Jocko, you have your own style, and I think its a good one. Excellent shot, I agree with skiwillgee, the crisp foreground set against the dreamy misty background works great. Bravo!!!!!

I like the position of the boat. It almost feels as though he should be an American Indian in a canoe, instead of a powered boat. The landscape feels ancient.

Bwautiful contrast between the natural and the man-made... I almost don't want to see him disturb the serenity of the place, but he fits just right where he is... wonderful image.
