This image is dedicated to magnus073, Veronica and the young ladies. Please think of the bird as us reaching across the net, our concerns flying in and landing with your family. About the photo: This is not the ideal bird shot and was taken last year at an old farm while my wife picked blackberries. The lens was not for birds and the bird is less than 1/10 of the image. This was a photo of the moment, a quick shot with the wrong set up in hand. Forgive the motion blur and lack of fine detail. I believe the posture of the Eastern Kingbird says it all. Flying in, putting on the air brakes. This wonderful pose is worth seeing even if detail is not fine. I was not looking for bird shots when the shutter was pushed in opportunity but I am quite glad the shot was taken. Dave, you are a Renderosity member but you are important for who you are, as are Veronica and your nieces are certainly.
