Description

Down In The Woods Down in the woods nestled by a tiny brook was a cottage in some long forgotten nook. On the side of the house was a bed of flowers where it seemed that daisies stood for hours. A white picket fence circled the worn out house and it even had a gate for a tiny little mouse. Its awnings were worn from the sands of time and the roof needed repair most of the time. Back behind the house there stood a grove of trees whose branches swayed gently in the evening breeze. Through the tree tops the moon light shone as if coming from some brightly lit dome. Over there a little further down the way there appeared to be a brightly lit bay. And even though things seemed in disrepair, I couldn't help but stop and take time to stare. Through the trees is where I saw the light shining brightly from the stars that moon lit night. And all about me there a soft hush as the breeze caressed my cheek in a light rush. All about me were scamperings I could not see. There might have even been a doe behind a tree. The moon light bathed all in its radiant glow. It made me wish that I didn't have to go. But I must leave and head for my home. Were I to stay I surely would become a nome. I went back up the winding wooded path and there I found my sweet home at last. I shall never forget that wonderful moon lit night where the rays of gold made my heart take flight. I shall keep that picture tucked in my heart and may one day incorporate it in my art. Strange, I'm seeing a lot of things related to trees and wood of late! This is awesome, and again, your words and your images work together so wonderfully!
