you show off that texture very well. and i'm impressed by the scene you've created. it's much harder to do contemporary scenes where everyone's familiar with all the details that need to be there. it's also harder to work with guys (at least from what i've seen and experienced), because so much art involves the female form that i think most people's visual language is less fluent when it comes to males. you've done a great job on him. i think the bracelet is a bit overexposed unless you want us to focus on it strongly, and the hair material looks a little too brightly diffuse. if you tweaked the levels some in an image editor, i think it would pop a bit more. the pose looks natural and sexy without looking contrived, and that rug or blanket he's on looks positively luscious. very good work.

I tend to use the male more often then the female recently, due to my work commissioned work. I don't find him difficult to use at all. I wish the males were more supported in the marketplace. I think you did a fantastic job with the pose, lighting and use of the texture. The hair is okay, but would probably benefit from some single highlighted strands. But, who am I to say, I suck at painting hair. The bracelet is very bright. :p Over all, an excellent image.
