Description

I've always loved lions... they really do look like royalty... and of course watching Lion King over and over as a kid made me like them even more.... The lion and lioness here were actually mating... my 24 years old cousin kept talking about how he was huging her and how they moaned so loud that I had to shut her up and just tell her that they're mating... and I'm the young one ... lol But really this shot overwhelmed me... I hope the way it made me feel reaches you! I had a really nice day 2day... went out with my friends... went to the movies (The Bee Movie is a must see lol) and had fun in the rain by the sea... it was amazing..

A nice shot but it saddens me to see wild animals caged up. sighhh

I agree with Raindroptheelf, lions should roam free! Excellent capture, though! We do have zoos over here that they can roam about, and the people are riding around in trams, instead. Basically, the people are caged and the animals are in their habitat. ;o)

Have to say I love lions too but wish these two weren't caged, and she doesn't look that impressed with her lovers attempts at love making does she? Ha ha Great capture - hugs Jane xx
