Description

I know it's a pity that animals are caged like that... I'm an animal lover myself and I've always hated the idea of caging. But unfortunately here in Egypt it's really hard to do it the other way round.. I mean there are people here whoactually live in tin boxes and the government is not helping them, do you think it would help animals? They say there isn't enough money for anything.. although we see those rich people play with billions... In that zoo... the animals are all put together in a limited area, so they can't really be let loose... lions are caged, like all other animals... but there are those places, like the one here, where they can roam freely... only lions and monkeys have that... lucky for them... Oh yes and please forgive the low quality here, it was zoomed...

It is a beautiful capture, they shelter in the shade of the tree. I agree it is sad to see any animal caged, at least in this compound they have a little more room, Nahla. Great work from you. Diane.

It is nice to know about these animals, and it seems we have zoos in the U. S. that are caged and inadequately cared for, too, so we do not have any better situation here. I know you are are an animal lover, and we all wish for better things for these magnificent animals. I agree with Richardphotos, that sometimes a situation such as the above picture is far better than being at the mercy of poachers in the wild. Excellent capture here.
