Description
This is the same day I shot all my foggy swamp photos and the sun came out and i headed to the coffee shop. I wanted to go to the old building too where this farn stuff is in. The old building used to be the Chevy car dealership place in town.. sure did go down hill that for sure.
anyway i thought about the flash been too much so I say I try in the morning as the sun light comes thought the window in back of the horse drawn farm stuff. I saw the sun light was just right lol.
You see two of them and one is called a rounder for it will shape the rolls of dirt. And the other one is a raker for hay. It will rake the cut grass into rolls so it can be make into bales of hay. A old man saw this at the coffee shop as I was working on the image and ask where I got the photos and I told him. He told me what the french names are but he told me what they do too. He a old cajun that can speack French and English. The French here will be diff from the french in Canada or France.

Nice one jock!!! the kanuckian french not to far removed from there. but then they are all the king leuis people the rich the frops and yuppies. even though i can trace blood lines back to same people they can.!! We joind the english!!! a good move i think.

Wonderful, wonderful wonderful! My father grew up on a small "truck farm" in SW Michigan (now what farming is left is mostly fruit, but the farms are slowly giving way to subdivisions, alas) Which grew all manner of vegetables for the local groceries and markets during the 1940's and 1950's. He still tells stories about their old work-horse (I think he said it was a Percheron) that was infrequently used when the tractors were all busy. He loves those work horses, and every time we get the chance we visit Amish country near us to see them still at work. He'd love this picture! I love the light, it's perfect for a shot like this! I'm so glad you went back for a re-shoot!

You know Jock that those farm impilments would probably be worth a few dollars in an antique shop, so why not swipe them for yourself as they will just rust away there ? I like the morning lighting..kool ! ~Cheers~
