Description

Another new bird for my yard... the common house finch. He was sitting on a feeder which made a very unbecoming background. So I applied a motion blur to the background. Bit of a wild manipulation, I suppose, but I worked all day on several images and couldn't come up with anything I liked. Too gray and rainy to get any decent shots. Thanks so much stopping to have a look.

It's nice to see these guys this time of year, since they're long gone from this part of the country. And now I know where they went. :-) I really like the motion blur effect, Maria. I'll have to remember that one.
