Description

I needed something green and refreshing! Anybody that saw (or heard about) the Giants/Packers game might know what sort of weather us Northerners have been enduring. It's been brutally cold here for WAY too long. I guess it makes Spring time that much more delightful! I took this last summer. The kids found this lil guy in my Hosta bed next to the Hydrangea. You can see the Hydrangea blossom in the background. Thanks for stopping by. Jodie Please visit my personal website...

I think everyone is needing something to uplift them from these gray dreary days of winter...It's a blah time indeed snow sleet gray skies grrrrr I want spring.....flowers......humminbirds LOL Excellent capture...you can tell it's winter with this lil fella..in the summer they are a bright bright green.... Sorry I have missed one or two of your images... The bout with bronchitis I had and in the hospital about did me in... Am beginning to feel better..was due chemo tomorrow but maybe just enough gas to get there..dunno about getting back going to call and reschedule... Not getting caught out in 30 degree weather and sitting in a car waiting for gas to get bought to me...Better safe than sorry with gas for sure next week... Love this lil capture.... Hope all is well with you Hugs Your Ky sis Susan~

Good POV and fine shot of this small amphibian, member of a species that, according to a science investigative report I heard on the radio, is rapidly disappearing worldwide, due to global warming, a diminishing ozone layer, and the loss and infringement by humans upon their habitats. This also includes toads and salamanders. Keep warm out there in Wisconsin!

Beautiful shot. Some of these guys are a lot louder than their size suggests. Good capture of their "suction cup" toes, too. Spring can't be too far away, buried somewhere under the ice and snow.

I am glad for the Giants..would have gone either way just so the Pats get beat. That has little to do with your shot. Thanks very much for this one, Odie, needed that with our weather and since we have few if any tree frogs around our home this is specially neat. Good shot and thanks for this one.
