Beautifully captured Dove, these are very similar to our spotted dove, except for the collar and the color of the eye, great DOF isolating the bird and perch

I dove this macro of the magnificent dove, Maria! Another excellent macro to add to your wonderful series. The gallant birdie really looks cold, all puffed up against that bone chilling wind.

I know you probably know better than I, but this looks more like the ringneck dove than the collared dove, only because it is has the typical brown and gray with a thin but dark band on the back of the neck. The collared dove is more gray without the brown as I understand it. But I only raised the white ringnecks so I'm just not so certain of the gray collared doves. In any event, this is gorgeous! They are such delicate birds and you have captured that delicate nature very well.
