Description
On The River, Yet Again
Walkin along the river
Near the water
Is there anything
That can be better
I suppose so
But you'd have to
Go far and wide
To find such a glorious place
I walk with the hawks
With the osprey
With the cows and the bulls
And the occasional person
The people are there
But they are not so important
Like me, they are lost
In the same world
Walking along the river
Takes away any pain
Any sorrow any bad stuff at all
It gives me joy and fills my soul
So..... I walk along the river

Very profound prose, yet again. Sorry Marilyn just had to pinch a bit of your title. A wonderful view, a personal view, coupled with personal thoughts. As PJ says, I can relate to that, especially if its a stream that holds trout and I have a rod and line with me. Fantastic work, you have a way with words. Bravo!!!!!

Considering your fascination with the river, you would have loved the paddle wheel steamboat life back in the 19th century on the Mississippi River. Ol Man River and all. Anyway, more wonderful introspective insight from your talented mind, Marilyn.
