Hi There Thanks for all your wonderful comments on my previous uploads. Well as you can see this is another macro, still taken a few months ago … of what I’ve been told is a Common Grass Blue Butterfly (if it’s not – let me know!) Unfortunately we don’t have that many different or colourful butties over here (or at least not that I’ve seen, lol). Anyways hope you all have a wonderful weekend. This is superb! You've captured a stunning degree of detail and color, despite your comment that this isn't exactly the most colorful of butterflies. You caught a lot of the subtleties of color though, shades that aren't all that different until you look at it closely and for a prolonged period of time. This is fantastic work, beautifully detailed as well, especially the hairs along the butterfly's thorax and wing-scales. Fantastic work, and definitely a favorite.
