Description

This shot is concentrated on the actual reflection not on the people inside it. I must pay another vist to Manchester soon as there are quite a few glass buildings that have been erected in the last few years. There are quite a few historic buildings about as well. I cannot relate much information about this building apart from it being photogenic. Sorry I have not done any homework on it, very remiss of me. Thanks for stopping by for a look, and for any comments you care to make. I do appreciate them all. May the sun shine down on you, where ever you are.

It seems in many ways that what we focus on is what we see but not necessarily all that is there... I've always loved finding other worlds in reflections..."mirrors" are everywhere~ Your angled shot gives this a bit more energy than it would have straight on.

Well it's been a few years since I was last in Manchester city centre, so I can't help you out here Jeff, but the shot is most certainly an impressive one! Great use of reflections and I love the angle of capture too. One to visit next time you are in the North West area, Liverpool.... a fantastic new building on the Kings Dock - a conference centre and arena. Definitely one which I intend going to look at soon!! Great shot pal, I zoomed in and the clarity of the reflection is brilliant. The little ladder halfway up looks like it is leaning on the reflected building lol. The Salford Quays area neer the Lowry is still expanding and looks fantastic. I would love to do some night shots at the Lowry Centre lit up all colours.
