Description

Who says a junkyard can't be artistic? (I'm trying to convince myself here.. hehe) We went away this weekend and decided to kill some time at a huge antique place in Lakeville Minnesota called Hot Sam's Antiques & Furniture. What a place it was! I'm not into antiques, but some of the stuff there was pretty neat. I kept wanting to take pictures of all the stuff they had lined up along the driveway and there was so much outside around the buildings and inside. Talking to the lady of the house was very interesting. She's buried up to her eyeballs in Sh-tuff, it was overwhelming, trying to take it all in. Here's just one of the many old cars she had outside the place. A 1951 Hudson Pacemaker. It was an old cop car ... I kinda liked the contrasts with the snow. Hope you had a nice weekend. :) Shari

I love this sort of place Shari, what's junk to one is treasure to another, thats how I look at it anyhow. I wish I could have been there with you for the experience, our's are can I say more refined. They don't include vehicles like this one. I think the local landfill site can be artistic so there you go. I hope you did convince yourself cause it is true, any place on earth or off can be artistic, it all depends on how you cock your head, to the left or to the right.lol. Fantastic capture of this beautiful old Hudson, nearly as old as me, I'm 48 vintage. I love the big ole light stuck on top, it looks huge. I hope(I know) you took some more pics around this place, I can't wait to see some of them. Excellent work and presentation. Bravo!!!!!
