Description

Quillip whispered to Jeet, "We have to go! I have one of them. People are coming." Jeet whispered over his shoulder to her,"GO.I have one, and we are NOT leaving the third behind." Quillip patted him on the shoulder and let her retrieval cord winch her up into the air vent. Jeet couldn't explain the feeling he felt touching the strange jewels. He thought they felt 'happy'. He heard voices just around the bend as he picked up the last of the 'Challenger Jewels'. He practically leapt over the space to a column and slid behind it. A flash-light beam swept through where he was as, an emergency light came on overhead. Ragdoll, the blue and red dressed Scav woman, said,"I was careful! Shooting at aliens AND trying not to blow up irreplaceable museum treasures is hard work!" Lord Delgado, the man in charge of the museum, gestured to the cut open armor-glass and asked,"What about THIS?" Ragdoll exclaimed,"We didn't do THAT!" F'Loona waved a hand and grinned,"You can see the blast marks of the reflected plaser hits that glanced off the glass across the hall. That was since we chased the aliens out of here!" Lord Delgado waved a hand and asked in irritation, "When did this happen? Any ideas?" Genessio ,the Derro janitor, swept off his tophat and bowed, saying,"Oh, merciful Lord, since I just came through here ten minutes ago, I would assume it happened with ten minutes. Someone REALLY wanted those cursed gems! In my opinion--they can keeped them. They are evil, you know." Lord Tavi Delgado rolled his eyes as F'Loona laughed. He sighed, "They are alien artifacts, not cursed, evil or possessed by spirits! They have no magic powers!" Ragdoll laughed and looked right at Jeet and didn't see him. "Yeah--right! Magic powers. Puh-lease! Some pissy little thieves more like it. We ought to file a report with the CDF and count our blessings we didn't all get killed." The others passed by Jeet, and didn't see him at all. He smiled and walked over to below the air-went in the ceiling, and looked up at it. He braced for a moment and leaped vertically twenty feet up to it. He disappeared into the darkened passageway. --TO BE CONTINUED-- After screwing this SOB up for a week, I finally got it to render after 36 hours. Never put "Gather" nodes on more than two or three textures! LOL

Pretty cool! Even without the story you provide, your renders can tell a story all by themselves! Great job.

Great work! I like the shadows, expressions and poses, and dof. I also like the little gold artifact in the back. It looks like it's saying 'Hey guys, I know where he is!'
