Rendered in Bryce. The image is raw with no post-work. Whilst landscapes are one of my favourite subjects in traditional mediums, I have hesitated to attempt them in Bryce. I have been frustrated particularly by the unrealistic appearance of flora. Even when browsing professional sites such as x-frog, I have wondered whether the designing artists have actually looked at a real tree in detail, rather than through an office window. The intention of this piece was to create trees that look like a specific species, in this case Fagus Purpurea, the copper beech. I would greatly appreciate criticism on this piece. Whilst I respect the sentiment of those who have previously commented on my work, I would prefer to avoid singular statements like "cool" or "great work".
