Description

I post this image just to show my hapiness with the tools Hexagon and Carrara. An art director asked for a closeup of a dishwashing machine, as if photographed arty. I could make this way within the hour thanks to the tools, and a hdri map from Dosch Design. The suggestion of waterdrops was made with simple spheres and Surface Replicater and a little smudging in post. A 'real' render would be turned up in blur quality and anti aliasing of course, this is what went over the mail to show the possibilities he has to keep in mind. I made some nice shapes because I knew everything would be chrome. I did some manipulation in Photoshop, using the Distance channel to darken the background. And I added one sharp en two blurred glistening stars that are in the standard PS brushes. Something out of nothing. Something useful as well :)

I would say this looks like the spraying part of " Wand with Jetts" thats on the inside of a industrial highend machine very realistic if you have ever seen one . Very well rendered Hoof !

Glad to see someone who finds that Hexagon and Carara together make a great team. I just hope Daz are aware that many of us need Hexagon and that they need to spend time on developing Hexagon a well as Carrara. Great job by the way!
